I made a couple stops this afternoon. First stop was a wetland preserve near Washington Courthouse, Ohio where I shot the frogs and woodpecker. Second stop was Deer Creek Wildlife Area near Mt Sterling Ohio where I shot the ducks. I love the shot of the flying redheads.
Beautiful Northern Shoveler Matt. This is another duck I love to see. The vivid colors, and that bill! Isn't is strange how the female bill is a different color. I've never seen them close enough to notice this. Thank You for all your great images. I like the redheads in flight also. Very Cool, their bright red heads stand out, their white breasts-wonderful! You Got it!
